vermont.

I am going to apologize in advance for the amount of pictures in this post, but I have not posted about the trip and have started to hear it from the fam. So here are the pics and a quick video made with Joe's phone of our adventure in Okemo, VT...

Our trip can be summed up with our three kids and what they liked to do in Vermont: ski, eat snow, lick the coat zipper.

The first day was kind of busy getting everything set. The second day we had some photo opps so we took them. It was really beautiful. It snowed several inches while we were there and it was so fun to enjoy it. Here Hannah is excited to be on the slope with us all and is enjoying the snow!!

Ski Buddies

I mean, come on...

Ski School (3 hours in the afternoon of day 1) she made it for 2 1/2!!

The guys watched the kids so the girls could go to the Vermont Country Store. I came back with some cheap entertainment "Gnarly Teeth."

We went over to another part of the resort and played on the snow hill (it was really just a big pile of ice and a little snow on top), but the kids had fun!!

Here is the licking of the zipper I mentioned.I guess it tasted really good.

Finally, here is a quick video of our little ski bunny!! She was racing Daddy down the slopes by day 3!!

We all had a wonderful trip and it was so fun hanging out with the family. It definitly was different then our ski trips pre-kids, but it was so great having Lizzie try it out and introducing them all to something we did before they came along. We can't wait to try it again next winter!!

long time, no post

OK, OK!! I know it has been forrreeevvverrrr since I have posted, but I do have some good excuses!!

• I started my 25 hours a week the week of our Vermont trip so I had to actually get in 40 hours before we went away. This is tough to do working at home with 3 kids. I managed, but alas did not have any "free time" to do frivolous things like post on my blog.
  
• I then was away in SNOWY Vermont and didn't post because I was having too much fun enjoying the winter we never had this year!!
  
• This week, uggg...my computer froze and needed a trip to KOPs Apple Store Genius Bar. Thank goodness for them, but unfortunately they had to erase my hard drive and therefore, I have been spending all this week, putting everything back on (I don't recommend this to anyone)!! I also had to fit all my new hours in the short Wednesday-Friday!! Fun!!

Soooo...here I am exhausted at 11:00 at night and still need 10 more hours for work. I have posted a little "teaser" of the trip. Lizzie was bribed to smile in this pic. I promise more in the next week. We have a ton!!

Quote of the day: "Lizzie, when will you learn to obey the first time?" Joe said as he was trying to keep his patience with a little girl having trouble at dinner. "When I am 5 Daddy!!" --I had to cover my mouth and its brief smile.

"poor buddy boy"

Lizzie affectionately refers to Jackson as "buddy boy." Jackson woke up Saturday night sick and was feeling better on Monday and then has had a bad bout of the runs for the last 2 days. He complains of his belly hurting and I have to change him quite a lot. Lizzie just keeps saying "poor buddy boy."
