Tonight as Lizzie prayed...
"...and God and Jesus, you guys are the most specialest in Elizabethtown, and I love you both so much, and Jesus you are very special..."

catch up...

I know I haven't posted in a while...let see, we have been pretty busy and here are some thoughts and photos.

Here is a picture of the biggest part of our busyness:
Hannah Grace...she is hitting the terrible 2s a little early, only just turning 19 months. She had decided to climb out of her crib, so we made her crib into a toddler bed, she again wouldn't stay in it, so we tried MANY things and just recently stumbled upon letting her go to sleep when she is tired. This goes against all of my motherly instincts, but it has worked the last 2 nights. She went to bed at 10:00 last night after playing in her room (pulling out all of the tiniest toys she could find) and then laid down in bed and went to sleep. Tonight, after no nap, she finally fell asleep at about 8:30--not too bad!!

Then, of course, we had the World Series..I searched for Phillies Gear for the kids all day before the series started and finally found them shirts at Kohl's and it was on sale because it was with the spring/summer stuff woo-hoo!! Hannah had an outfit from Lizzie so she was set.

We got a pumpkin to carve the Saturday before Halloween and roasted the seeds to eat. It was lots of fun!!
Then came the big surprise...Joe got invited to go to the Phillies Game 5 of the World Series with George from NJ. George called him and casually asked him what he was doing on Monday night and asked if he wanted to go to the "Park" to watch the game. Joe was dumbfounded and asked if he was joking. George had won the tickets at work and thought of Joe to go with him. So Joe went on Monday, got rained on and went again on Wednesday for game 5 1/2 when they WON!!! (he still has not gotten his real voice back) It was so cool and a once in a lifetime thing!!

So that is what has been going on!! We voted today and went to see HSM3 (kind of cheesy, but the kids liked it) and now I am getting ready for bed. Joe and I are very much looking forward to our Anniversary Getaway in less than 2 weeks. I can't wait to have fun with just Joe.

I do have a cute quote from Lizzie...
Lizzie came home from Kindergarten yesterday with an "I Voted" sticker on her shirt. I knew she was doing this at school, we had gotten a note about it, but I hadn't talked to her about the election and really forgot about it until she came home. I asked her how she voted and who she voted for. She said, "Mom, it is a secret, I can't tell you." and continued to tell me about the process and her buddy who helped her. After only a few minutes, she told me, "I can't tell you who I voted for, it is a secret, but I can tell you I voted for the brown one, but I won't tell you his name." Later I found out she didn't know his name, but we did get some good conversation out of it all and some chuckles with friends and family. We think it goes along with her crush on Corban Bleu from High School Musical. She was very interested to know who we voted for today and why, and we got to talk to her about it so that was cool.

Hannah has started saying "sorry" "buddy" (for Jackson) "jacks" and when you call her she says "what?" she's so funny!!

Jackson continues to be our sensitive, sweety and we are not allowed to laugh "at him" for any reason or he gets his feelings hurt. He is trying many things on his own and we often have to turn away as his tounge is sticking out and he is trying so hard to do someting without help. He's so cute!!
